How to set up block algo flex

Setting Up block algo flex

Prerequisites

  1. TradingView account — You need at least a free TradingView account. Sign up here if you do not have one.
  2. Active block algo flex subscription — Purchase a plan at app.blockresearch.ai and claim TradingView access from your dashboard.

Step 1: Add block algo flex to Your Chart

  1. Open any chart on TradingView
  2. Click the Indicators button (or press / on your keyboard)
  3. Go to the Invite-only scripts tab
  4. Find block algo flex and click to add it to your chart

Step 2: Open the Settings Panel

  1. Hover over the block algo flex label on your chart
  2. Click the gear icon to open settings
  3. You will see all 13 indicators listed, each with a checkbox to enable/disable it

Step 3: Configure Your Signal

For each indicator you want to use:

  1. Check the "Use [Indicator]?" box to enable it
  2. Set the parameters (length, source, smoothing, etc.)
  3. Choose a timeframe — Use "Chart" to match your current chart timeframe, or select a specific timeframe for multi-timeframe analysis
  4. Set buy and sell conditions — Define the thresholds or crossover events that trigger signals

Step 4: Review Signals on Your Chart

Once configured, block algo flex will plot buy and sell markers on your chart wherever all enabled indicators agree. Scroll through history to visually inspect the signals.

Quick-Start Example

Here is a simple two-indicator setup to get started:

  • RSI: Enable, Length = 14, Buy Condition = Less Than 30, Sell Condition = Greater Than 70
  • EMA Price: Enable, Length = 200, Buy Condition = Price Above EMA, Sell Condition = Price Below EMA

This gives you a basic "buy oversold dips in an uptrend" signal. From here, add more indicators to refine your entries.

Tip: Using indicators in unconventional ways — such as very short or very long lookback periods — can sometimes uncover setups that most traders overlook.
